  1. I don't mind the new design & format, but find the actual search results to be unusable & inaccurate.

    I used to be able to rely on this tool for good synonyms and suggestions but, unfortunately, the update has been destructive to the quality of the search results. I can find a few good results, but the overall quality is certainly lacking.

    In the past, I really respected and enjoyed using this site. Please reconsider the changes.

  2. Change searching by letter

    I'm using the classic version because the new one doesn't do any of the stuff I need that I liked from the old one. But, now, the classic version is messed up. If you search by the first letter (for acronyms, alliteration, etc) it will only show you 10 words that begin with that letter, show an ad, and then go back to the letter at the beginning. In other words if you're looking for the synonyms that start with the letter C, you can only see 10 of them. There's only one way to fix it. You must go…

  4. Have an option for 200 words per page. Flicking over the short 20-word pages to find one of 3,000 words is just daft!

  5. Go back to the old format!!!

    What a disaster the new format is. It's stingy with information, options and results. The whole benefit of the old format was its generosity. Everything was in front of you--long lists of varied word results, ready menus for antonyms, links on each word to go in another direction. You ruined a marvelous thing!

  6. Change it back!!!

    Why did you change the whole thing? I've been using powerthesaurus daily for a long time. I clicked in multiple times a day when I had an idea. I need to be able to sort alphabetically with a high volume of words on the screen at a time so I can brainstorm. Plus I need to be able to put in the first letter and narrow the results down to create acronyms, rhymes, lists, alliteratiom, etc for my teaching. I can't do any of those things now. You've abandoned what was a perfect thing. If you think others will like…

  10. I Want Original www.powerthesaurus.org vs www2. PLZ

    You were UNIQUE, quick simple, yet extensive expressions. www2 version is bloated white spaced, max scrolling required (time waste) and poor visual design.

    Getting creative for synonyms and antonyms is NOT fast. See former favorite swollen Thesaurus.com and any other 'current' site

  11. Stop the Pop-Ups

    Every time I use your powerethesaurus app within seconds to a minute I get pop ups saying I won something. It’s annoying & infuriating. This does not happen on any other app I use so it must be your app.

    Please accept our apologies for this. We have contacted the ad network to investigate and remove such ads.

    The ad provider implemented some changes to prevent such misbehaving ads to appear on 5th of Jan. Please let us know if you still experience any.

  13. Remove repeated synonyms across search pages.

    When I search a word I often come across repetitions of the same synonym, which adds to my search time. I think it would just streamline the process to remove repetitions from a given search. That said, this is by far the best thesaurus I've every come across and I love it!

  14. Reconfigure Parts of Speech

    The Noun and Verb filters should automatically include expressions, idioms and phrases (and phrasal verbs). I shouldn't have to click and review the list 4 times to cover all the possible verb or noun synonyms. If necessary, you could add "one-word noun" and "one-word verb" filters. Another option is to allow more than one filter at a time.

  16. I love power thesaurus

    I love power thesaurus, I use it all the time when I'm writing but the new design is awful. I get that you're going for a more upgraded look which is fine, but the part I miss most is that the cursor doesn't automatically go back to the search bar, so whenever I flick back to the page I can't type straight away and that was one of the better features that other sites don't have and its obvious to me now because its gone.     I also like the old version better, because there was a box right there so the user could go straight to all the synonyms beginning with a given letter without having to scroll
