I suggest you ...

Change it back!!!

Why did you change the whole thing? I've been using powerthesaurus daily for a long time. I clicked in multiple times a day when I had an idea. I need to be able to sort alphabetically with a high volume of words on the screen at a time so I can brainstorm. Plus I need to be able to put in the first letter and narrow the results down to create acronyms, rhymes, lists, alliteratiom, etc for my teaching. I can't do any of those things now. You've abandoned what was a perfect thing. If you think others will like this why not offer a link to use the "classic" version? I had recommended this app to probably a hundred others but now I'm just frustrated

Moved status update to the comment section:

Thank you for your feedback! Please accept our apologies for any issues you have with updated design. Please be assured that your feedback is very important to us especially during design changes.

As you could notice we made a very large number of user interface changes. The new design has strong focus on content. As a result we considered to remove or change some functions. The new layout was tested for almost a year with almost every day updates. Ability to sort alphabetically was a hot topic during our discussions and we believed that it might be beneficial to a very minor group of users. For others it might be visual noise.

Have you had a chance to use list search function? It's located right above the list of terms. Once you type any letter combination, the list becomes filtered by it. You can also use special characters like '?' and '*'. This allows to quickly show the terms that start with (or end with) a particular letter(s) as well as limit number of letters.

Could you please provide us with more info on why do you need alphabetical sorting in more detail (how have you used it, what is it for).

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Kind Regards,

    Alex
