Essentially the recent search history, while I'm aware goes away with time, is still clutter, especially if I want to keep Chrome open with the tab open. I'd like if there was a button of some type, or a SHIFT+DEL type of keyboard shortcut, where you could delete all or individual search history results you no longer need. This is important due to the fact it eventually starts clogging the results, making it hard to find certain words. Ideally, I'd like to think an option to simply not save search history would be nice as well.1 vote
The settings for disabled search history and corresponding ability to clean it are planned after next version release and expected to be online within 3 months.

The 'unobtrusive' ads in the browser version are actually quite distracting to me. Happy to pay a small monthly fee, but if you could set your pages to display synonyms when quiet reader extensions are invoked, that would suit me fine. Currently, when I turn on Tranquility in Firefox all I see is the count of synonyms and a copyright notice. If I have a way to see results without ads, I promise to donate.1 vote
I searched a hundred words with synonyms, then the next couple of days, I lose my recent searches, unable to search them back due to remembering problems. This idea allows me to keep recent searches without losing them due to updates or errors.1 vote

Add download feature that allows you to get a text file of the results for the word you are searching for. Thank You.

I looked up the phrase "wise old woman" and got no word list but only some web pages, including one describing crones. So I looked for synonyms for that, and they were all very negative, e.g. shrew, although crone is used by modern women to mean wise woman. I then looked up "wise old man" and got a lengthy list of wonderful synonyms--savant, philosopher, mastermind, etc. Women can be those things too, you know.4 votes

I had & still keep the Power Thesaurus app on my iPhone/iPad & loved it! Was better than your thesaurus on web! It was never upgraded to continue for IOS use. PLEASE UPGRADE! No other Thesaurus came close!4 votes
It seems that you are having an issue with launching Power Thesaurus app and the reason is that the app is not upgraded to iOS version.
Could you please share:
- the message you are getting
- your iOS version and device
- any other information that you believe might benefit the developers to understand the issue better

...allow word/phrase suggestions from users.
Even if not strictly accurate (in fact, maybe esp so!) some might prove useful to some readers.
And AFAICT, more time-spent-on-pages = higher rankings in search engines, a win-win!1 vote
Desktop users are able to suggest new terms to the lists. For mobile and apps this will be added soon.

The examples section has already been approved and is under work by our developers. We expect it to be live within 2 weeks. It also be part of the default sections shown in preview.
I don't mind the new design & format, but find the actual search results to be unusable & inaccurate.
I used to be able to rely on this tool for good synonyms and suggestions but, unfortunately, the update has been destructive to the quality of the search results. I can find a few good results, but the overall quality is certainly lacking.
In the past, I really respected and enjoyed using this site. Please reconsider the changes.5 votes
Please note that you may still access previous version via classicthesaurus.com
The new version didn’t have any major changes in term listings. The list search wasn’t developed to the same complexity and is under work right now by one of the developer.
We would greatly appreciate if you could advise any issues with search results by providing some examples.
Months back you were not pagenating and now you've reverted to old scripting. It was better when scrolling would generate new output. Having to click on the next page is lame.4 votes
Some users have experienced issues with infinite scroll, hence we had to roll-out a quick fix with pagination.
Why did you change the format? This new one is LESS informative.10 votes
