Track session lineages
I think it would be cool if on the side panel it tracked through the words the user directly clicked through. So every time a word was entered in the search menu it would be a new 'session' and as the user clicked each word into sequentially more specific words, it could display a line chart on the back. This would be (1) simply interesting but also (2) give the user a way to backtrack when they started going down the wrong 'path' and revert back to a previous word.
If/how the system would handle going back i.e. a fork…

Instead of having numbers for multiple pages show it as A-Z, and put it at the top.
Sometimes I can't remember a word but I can usually remember what it starts with. If we could go to a page by letter instead of number it would be faster. Or at least expand the range of numbers so I can jump to like page 11 instead of clicking on each one.

Include the ability to add topics to pre-existing words
I know you can re-add the same word with the topics appended, but this is unintuitive and is also unclear as to how it should work in corner cases.
I suggest an edit button appended on the right hand side of the column for each word, so as to allow the topics to then be corrected more intuitively.

Typing on the page begins a search.
Like on dict.cc - use JQuery to register any keyboard hit so that when you move between tabs and want to start a new search you don't need to click into the search bar before typing, would make things much easier, especially for those who prefer using a keyboard.

Audio pronunciation has been added to some modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox Beta). More support is planned and is under development.
Pronunciation is available for both searched tern and each term is results.z

Include a “Combo Word Search" Feature
Searching for 2+ Words Together
would be great! I'd love to be able to search for COMMON synonyms between two related words. Perhaps you have this feature available and I have not yet discovered how to apply it successfully. I was looking for Ablution(s) synonyms, and hoped that by including/combining 1(or more) synonyms in my search, may add CONTEXT, FOCUS et al … Narrowing the search to more relevant, precise result(s) which is my goal. Add another column for the synonyms sorted by the number of letters from most to least.

The form has been updated with multiple changes to make it more user-friendly:
1. The wording on suggested terms has been updated with more user friendly text/drop-down combination.
2. The spacing of the form has been increased
3. Supporting text has been grayed-out and reduced in size.
4. The focus on the field has been highlighed
5. Once on the page, the focus is on a most appropriate field.

Definitions are available for most terms via “define” link shown in top right corner of the lists.

create a search filter for small word synonyms
so you can search for 3 and 4 letter words, etc

I hate having to click through pages. But auto loading pages aren't so fun, either (don't do that)
